Prince George’s County, Maryland…The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Homicide Unit is investigating a shooting that left a man dead yesterday evening in Landover, Maryland.

            On September 26, 2010 approximately 11:50 p.m., patrol officers responded to the 3400 block of Dodge Park Road in Landover, Maryland for a report of a shooting.  When officers arrived, they discovered 22 year-old Pierre Antawn Medley of the 7300 block of Goodland Drive in Landover, Maryland, suffering from gunshot wounds.  Medley was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.  Detectives are working to identify a suspect(s) and establish a motive in this case.
