Prince George’s County, Maryland…Prince George’s County Police Chief Roberto L. Hylton and County Executive Jack B. Johnson proudly recognized and congratulated newly promoted officers and civilians within the police department. 

        The promotion ceremony was held on Wednesday, January the 27^th at Charles H. Flowers High School.  Those promoted included 2 Lieutenant Colonels, 9 Majors, 12 Captains, 18 Lieutenants, 29 Sergeants, 37 Corporals, 139 Police Officer First Class and 9 civilians.  “I’m honored to be here to congratulate each one of you.  Our crime rate is the lowest it has been in 35 years and you all have played an integral part in making this happen”, said Chief Hylton.
