Police Seek Identity of Armed Robbery Suspect

Surveillance Photographs Released


            Prince George’s County, Maryland…The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Robbery Unit is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect wanted in connection with an armed robbery that occurred in Upper Marlboro.  Investigators have released surveillance photographs of the suspect.

            On October 31, 2009 at approximately 8:50 p.m., an armed suspect entered the Exxon gas station located in the 7600 block of Crain Highway in Upper Marlboro.  Once inside, the suspect asked for a cigar. When the victim retrieved the cigars, the suspect displayed a handgun and demanded money.  The victim complied and the suspect fled with an undetermined amount of money.   The victim was not injured in the incident.

            The suspect is described as black male, medium complexion, approximately 25-27 years old, 5’ 8” in height, and 180-190 lbsHe was last seen wearing black hooded coat, black gloves, and armed with a handgun.
