Prince George’s County, Maryland…  The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Homicide Unit is investigating a homicide that occurred yesterday afternoon on Larchdale Road.

On October 31, 2009 at approximately 3:41 p.m., officers responded to the 13000 block of Larchdale Road in Laurel, to check on the welfare of a man in a vehicle stopped on the shoulder of the road.  When officers arrived, they found Emanuel William Palmer, 28, of the 2300 block of Good Hope Road, S.E., Washington D.C., suffering from a gunshot wound.  He was pronounced dead at the scene.  Investigators are working to identify the suspect(s) and establish a motive in this case.
