The Prince George’s County Council will convene as the Board of Health during the scheduled Council session on Tuesday, May 10, 2011, at 10:00 a.m. in the Council Hearing Room, First Floor, County Administration Building, 14741 Governor Oden Bowie Drive in Upper Marlboro. 

Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene Secretary Joshua Sharfstein, M.D., will provide a presentation to the Council on the State Health Improvement Plan (SHIP).  The presentation will be the first of its kind before a County-level governing body in the State of Maryland.   

Additionally, the Board of Health will be briefed on the Washington Adventist Health Care System Certificate of Need by Dimensions Healthcare President and CEO, Kenneth Glover; Adventist HealthCare President and CEO, William Robertson; and Associate Vice President of Government Relations and Public Policy Robert Jepson.
