Prince George's County Maryland... The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Homicide Unit is investigating a homicide in Landover, Maryland.   

On July 31, 2011, at approximately 2:40 a.m., patrol officers responded to the 7600 block of Oxman Road for a report of a cutting.  Upon arrival, patrol officers found 46 year old David Smith, of the 7600 block of Oxman Road, suffering from trauma to his body.  He was pronounced dead on the scene. 

Detectives are working to identify the suspect(s) and establish a motive in this case.   The investigation is ongoing.
