Prince George’s County, Maryland…The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Homicide Unit is investigating the murder of an adult male that occurred in Landover, Maryland.
On November 28, 2010, at approximately 12:29 p.m., patrol officers responded to the 1300 block of Nalley Terrace to check on the welfare of an unresponsive person in a vehicle. When patrol officers arrived, they discovered James Edward Waters, 24, of the 7600 block of West Lake Terrace in Bethesda, suffering from a gunshot wound.
He was pronounced dead on the scene. Preliminary investigation has revealed that this incident may have occurred on Saturday evening between the hours of 8p.m. to 10 p.m. Detectives are working to identify the suspect(s) and establish a motive in this case.
