Prince George’s County, Maryland… The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner has notified the Prince George’s County Police Department’s Homicide Unit that the death investigation of a female found on Brightseat Road in July of 2010 has been ruled a homicide.
On July 24, 2010 at approximately 1:50 p.m., patrol officers and fire department personnel responded to the 1700 block of Brightseat Road for the report of a foul odor in the area. When patrol officers arrived, they found the decomposed body of a female inside a trash dumpster.
The victim was identified as 24 year old Nicole Thompson of the 1800 block of Andrews Avenue in New York. Detectives are working to identify a suspect(s) and establish a motive in this case.
