Prince George's County, Maryland …The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Police Athletic League (PAL) is teaming up with the National Football League (NFL) to hold Punt, Pass & Kick (PPK).

The NFL Punt, Pass & Kick program is a national skills competition established for boys and girls between the ages of 10 and 15.  The program allows boys and girls to compete separately against their peers.  Established in 1961, the Punt, Pass & Kick program is the oldest NFL Youth Football program.  The program allows boys & girls to experience the fun of learning football fundamentals in an engaging and supportive non-contact environment.  Punt, Pass & Kick is one of the world’s largest youth sports participation programs in the world.

The Prince George’s County Police Athletic League will host Punt Pass and Kick, Mini-Camp at various locations throughout Prince George’s County on August 1, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.  The Police Athletic League is dedicated to promoting and providing a safe environment for youth in Prince George’s County.  Its goal is to build a bridge between our police department and the community’s youth.
