Prince George’s County, Maryland…The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Homicide Unit is investigating a homicide that occurred in Forestville, Maryland.

     On June 27, 2009, at approximately 6:05 p.m., officers responded to the 3300 block of Donnell Drive for a sound of gun shots.  When officers arrived, they discovered 18 year-old Shawn Antonio Perry of the 6000 block of Spell Road Clinton, Maryland suffering from a gunshot wound to his body.  He was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.

     Anyone with information about this case is asked to call the Prince George’s County Police Department’s Homicide Unit at (301) 772-4925.  Callers wishing to remain anonymous may call Crime Solvers at 1-866-411 TIPS (8477).  The Prince George’s County Police Department is offering a cash reward of up to $25,000 for information that leads to the arrest and indictment of the suspect(s).  The investigation is continuing.
