Prince George’s County, Maryland…  The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Homicide Unit has identified the victim of the homicide that occurred on 70th Avenue as Sean Ernest Smith, 25, of the 3900 block of 73rd Avenue in Landover Hills.

On June 18, 2009, at approximately 3:10 a.m., officers responded to the 4100 block of 70th Avenue in Landover Hills, Maryland, for the report of a shooting.  When officers arrived, they found Smith with trauma to his upper body.  He was pronounced dead at the scene.  Investigators believe this homicide occurred as a result of a personal dispute.
