LARGO, MD - Prince George’s County government offices will be closed on Monday, February 15, 2010, in observance of Presidents’ Day. 

The Department of Environmental Resources (DER) announces that the Brown Station Road Sanitary Landfill and all waste management services and facilities, including recycling and trash collection, will operate on a regular schedule on Monday, February 15, 2010.  For more information, please call DER’s Waste Management Group at (301) 952-7630.

Due to the cancellation of trash collections on February 8 through
February 11, DER expects a heavy volume of trash on Monday, February 15 and Tuesday, February 16, 2010.  With the increased volume of trash, collections may continue beyond the normal hours.
